THE STRENGTH OF OPPOSITES
Design and realisation of a private terrace in Duomo’s area – Milan. A terrace of great prestige with fine finishes such as the Iroko wood flooring with different course and width of the staves, varying according to the functional areas, the multi-level planters designed and made of sheet metal and painted as requested. The plant composition strongly plays on contrasts, both in bearing and foliage colour. Two large maples mark the focal points at the corners of the composition, while in the centre we find a Camellia sasanqua that provides long and abundant winter blooms. The walls are covered with climbing plants of different species that give the room an all-round green and lush style. Finally, a vegetable garden/didactic planter located near the kitchen allows even the youngest members of the house to always have fresh herbs and to interact with plants.
